INGREDIENTS
- 1 1/3 c warm water
- 1 package rapid rise yeast
- 1 tsp sugar
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 cups flour
- Toppings of your choice!
METHOD
DOUGH:
- Preheat oven to 200F
- With warm water in a bowl, add sugar and mix
- Add yeast and stir, watching for bubbles
- Add the olive oil to water and add the flour
- Knead mixture into a ball, adding water if needed
- TURN OFF THE OVEN once it's reached 200F
- Place dough in an oiled stainless steel bowl and cover with plastic wrap
- Place in oven for an hour
SAUCE:
- In a pan heat olive oil and add garlic cloves
- Add a can of whole tomatoes
- Add a pinch of salt
- Pour contents into a blender
ASSEMBLE:
- Remove dough from oven and turn oven up as hot as it will go, 500-550F
- Start rolling out dough, put in hot oven until starts to brown
- Remove dough and add toppings
- Cook for 5-8 minutes until crispy and cheese melted
